Solar ship

Now a days conventional is becoming scarce, therefore we should search for increased use of non conventional energy sources. Today the largest requirement of energy is found in transportation and communication applications.

Solar energy is non conventional energy, this energy inexhaustible, free of and never creates any type of pollution. Solar energy is available over the sea surface and can be used for transport vehicles in sea. Due to this reason there is scope for using solar energy operated ship .This project work has been selected explore the use of application of solar energy in marine transport.

Objectives

To design and construct a simple ship powered by solar energy suitable for following applications:

·Transportation of heavy material in Sea

·Fishing in river

·Boating in lake
